TP5x is the faster and firmer of the two five-layer tour balls. It launches higher than TP5 with lower driver spin, which is where the extra distance off the tee comes from, while the thin cast urethane cover keeps the greenside control you expect from a tour ball. New Microcoating applies the paint more precisely so it cannot pool in the dimples, making flight more repeatable and dispersion tighter. The Tour Flight dimple pattern holds a penetrating flight into wind.
